crobleyParticipantSo I have a custom size video I created. Its exactly the width of my site at 1330px wide by 550px high.
I created my slider slide width to Auto and set the dimensions to 1330px x 550px.
I have a placeholder image in place that displays properly, however when the video starts its zoomed in a cropped slightly.
Did I miss a setting somewhere?December 27, 2016 at 1:08 pm #1306130

RadModeratorHi there,
Is it the one on the homepage? The layout width is 1366px and the slider container height is 550px. It’s varies from your video size since there is size restriction, hence, cropping occurs. Remember that any element you add, the limitation applies to the layout that wraps it. Aspect ratio should be maintained.
1. Please remove the minimum height of 550, and maximum width 1366px. You don’t need this since your slider is responsive, and a responsive slider will follow the layout size.
2. Add your video as video layer instead of video background. A video background is only limited to 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio, while your video’s aspect ratio isn’t on the list. With video layer, you can set its size to full screen and it will follow the aspect ratio of 1366×550
Thanks!

crobleyParticipantExcellent thank you!
Side question: Is there a way to have a cover image on the slider and when clicked will then play the video?
Basically I want the first frame of the slider to be a “Click to Play Video” slide.Possible?

RadModeratorHi there,
That’s possible through layer actions https://www.themepunch.com/revsliderjquery-doc/layer-actions/
Or disable slider autoplay, then use layer action to go to next slider where the video is.
Cheers!
