    Joao,

Back in October, you posted this. Which helped me at the time (because I was one of the affected) and I have been waiting for official notification that this issue is resolved with a new Slider Revolution version. It looks like my system is currently offering a 5.0.3.2 version in my Plugins. Is that version working with X? Can I update without breaking my sliders?

    Hi There,
We are working with Theme Punch and we expect to fix it as soon as possible, it is hapenning in very isolated installations and we are still investigating the roots of the problem.

In the meanwhile if you would like to downgrade your Revolution Slider you can download it from this link :

Acess your site via FTP and go to Wp-Content/Plugins/ and replace the RevSlider Folder.

    Thanks for understanding,

    Joao

    Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The current supported plugin versions can be checked in this article: https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/

There is no new updates for the Slider Revolution slider for the moment. Though we are prepping up for the upcoming release version of X and Cornerstone. Any plugin update might be included also. Please bear with us.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

Not sure I understand. I am on Slider Revolution 5.2.6… I tried to update in October to some version but it blew up all my sliders. Was that version 5.3.0.2 or something prior? I had to manually back out of it to get the site running again. Am I only supposed to upgrade the SR with a X upgrade or can I do it separately when WordPress advertises the plug-in is available?

    I have wordpress 4.6.1 and X 4.6.4 CornerStone 1.3.3

What plug-ins do I want to wait for X or Cornerstone to upgrade for me?

With 4.6.4 wouldn’t I get 5.3.0.2? Is that the one that broke on my site?

    Hi there,

You don’t have to update your rev. slider, it doesn’t have much integration with the X theme. Unless announced that it must be updated due to incompatibility or if there are major changes.

It depends on, example, cornerstone should always be updated matching the update of X theme since it’s deeply integrated. X theme only uses rev. slider to display it, hence, you can stay with your current version.

    Thanks!
