Hi,
I’m trying to put slider revolution on home page of my site, and in placing it in a new full width section of cornerstone, the slider, designed to run full width is sitting on top of my sidebar – not sure what i’m missing, but need the sidebar to sit below the slider….

I’m also getting this error message when i try to edit the page, not edit in cornerstone:
Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.

With regards to edit post issue, you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

I’ve turned off all plugins and still get the error message:
“Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.”
I’m in urgent need to get this site sorted so i can populate with content for a quiet launch this week.

Hi there,

Please activate cornerstone even if you want to edit your page outside CS as it’s a required plugin in x.

When I try to edit the page, I am still getting the error message: Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.
Please assist
I need to access the ‘edit’ mode in order to implement revolution slider.

After reviewing the information provided above, I would try checking with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you.
