Brownstone303ParticipantHello,
I noticed recently that because I didn’t verify my site with google, when I search for it, it comes up with a message saying this site may be hacked.
I tried to add the html snippit but that didn’t work. I then installed a plugin: Google Site Verification Meta Tag and I still can’t get it verified.
Please help.
Thanks,

Verifying google is quite straight forward and there is few options, I usually choose to drop the html file via ftp and it verifies without issues.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Upon checking, I see that you’re using older version of X theme and plugins. First of all, make sure that you’re fully updated.
You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.
Thanks!
