    hi there,

We have a multisite, and are noticing that some of our sites on x-theme are inconsistent in displaying the admin bar when logged out.

The primary concern right now is http://livingnow.com.au, which we have just launched.

It is running all of the latest versions of WordPress and X-Theme, but Cornerstone is on 1.3.0 (although it’s unlikely this is the issue).

Please advise on how I can resolve in this particular site.

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing in!

Would you mind providing WP Admin Credentials in a private reply so we can take a closer look?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

That last password works. Would you mind clarifying what’s the issue? I checked your two sites while logged out and I don’t see any admin bar, the other one has coming soon page. You may provide video recording for clarification 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hi Rad,
These sites are on the multisite, and are all displaying the wp admin bar:
    http://iamjenniferkeller.com (Story Theme)
    http://cydsaunders.be (Story Theme)
    http://love.icologi.com (X-theme)
    http://thatslife.cc (Genesis Child Theme)
    http://yogatrance.dance/ (Launch Effect Theme)

Yet these sites, also on x-theme, and also on the same multisite are not:
    http://livingnow.com.au
    http://book.cameronburgess.com

We have checked the multisite settings, and they say to display the admin bar to logged out users, so the issue isn’t there. I can only presume it’s an issue with the child theme, but can’t be certain.

    Hi there,

Are they on same multi sites? I don’t see them, just seeing the two. And looks like the admin you provided has just few capability. I can’t check your network-wide settings. Please grant full capability.

    Thanks!

    Hi there
Revisiting this discussion. The thing that matters to me, at this point, is that the admin bar is not appearing to logged out users on http://livingnow.com.au

This site is a part of the http://icologi.com multisite, and the multisite network settings have been setup to show the admin bar to logged out users.

I am presuming this is something to do with the theme settings, but can’t find the reference point anywhere.

    Please advise

    Hey there,

There is no function in X that disables the admin bar. Please try this solution https://digwp.com/2011/04/admin-bar-tricks/#always-show. Take note that this is not a function available in X out of the box so issues arising from using custom functions would be outside the scope of our support.

    Thanks.
