    Hi,

My site is biglittlefilmmaker.com. Yesterday while working on my site, I noticed it slowing down to the point that it crashed.

I contacted the hosting service and the tech could not pinpoint the problem but asked me to use GTMetrix to get analysis done online. The analysis showed everything with a rating of A with only two B’s. However, two areas did flunk: defer parsing of JavaScript and leverage browser caching.

I am not that technical to understand what needs to be done to fix these issues or, if in fact, these issues are the culprit or the symptom.

Anyway, I am not certain where to even begin to fix the situation especially since it is not consistent. Currently, the site appears to be alright and I am not seeing the type of stats that I was getting yesterday between 4:00 PM and about 6:00 PM. But the 30 day specs are indicating heavy resource utilization to the point that resources are into the maximum utilization area or causing the website to crash.

I look forward to your response.

    Hi There,

Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If it’s not fixed, please send us your admin credentials in a private reply.

Let us know how it goes.
