Scott LParticipantI just updated automatically to 4.6.1 and my site broke horribly. I used to see the X shortcodes plugin, but don’t see it anywhere for updating and visual composer looks like it doesn’t need an update.
Please take a look at http://www.midsunsp.com
What went wrong??? Need to fix ASAP

JoaoModeratorHi Scott,
At this time you will need to perform a Child Theme Update.
Please refer to this thread:

Hope it helps,

Scott LParticipantI’m pretty confused. Just uploaded the x-child theme, however, not understanding the import instructions here. A bit over my head…
I don’t think I have anything that complicating (no functions, no script rewrites, if I did, how would I know?) except for the Customized custom css and all the custom settings. It looks like the child theme is structured completely different where its all one child theme instead of different child themes for each X template type. How do I easily copy my settings over to the new x child theme or do they automatically populate?

JoaoModeratorHi Scott,
Have you made many changes to your original Child Theme?
If not at all, you could simply switch to your main X Theme, it would not even be necessary using a child theme, if you prefer to use a child theme you can delete and install a fresh version you can download from your Themeco Dashboard.
Beside that the explanations are quite clear on the thread above.

Scott LParticipantOkay, I think I got it all almost back to normal. However, found an issue:
I use shortcodes in my topbar and you originally gave me a shortcode or customized code to get them to show up. The topbar does not show anymore but Customized says its turned on. At some point I had icon shortcodes up there that I may have custom coded. Any way to get them back?
