Bark201ParticipantThank you for your reply. I cant enable it as its not aesthetic unless I know exactly when you will be able to check it. How can this be arranged?

RadModeratorHi there,
In that case, you can clone your site as staging and from that, we can test and apply changes without affecting your live site.
Thanks!

Bark201ParticipantI know what you mean but I dont have that yet. If you have a staging demo site cant you try it? Just add sidebar on the left with content on the right in the customizer and you will see what I mean. For pages its fine because im using full width, just need it to work like i wrote for posts and categories list

Paul RModeratorHi,
While we are happy to help with the occasional quick tweak here or there, we are well into the custom development realm, which is outside the scope of support we can offer. If you need more in depth changes, you may wish to consult with a developer. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!

Bark201ParticipantThank you for your reply. This more of a bug that empty side bars are showing all over the place even though there is no content in them. If you call this custom development then please fix this in your next update.

Bark201ParticipantDo the sidebars show on mobile phones?
December 12, 2016 at 7:50 am #1289974
Paul RModeratorHi,
Yes, sidebars shows in mobile. It moves down and shows in full width.
You can check our demo sites to see how in works.
Thanks

Bark201ParticipantThank you. I wish integrity sidebars were just like Icon. The icon sidebar rips through the top menu. If you can offer an option to disable the sidebar from ripping the nav menu and to have it like integrity sidebar it will be great.

Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
Regretfully that cannot be done with simple modifications, for this particular customization request you may need to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Thanks for understanding. Take care!

Bark201ParticipantIs it possible to disable the sidebars in certain pages/posts once enabled?
December 18, 2016 at 6:00 am #1297123
ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please select full width or blank page’s template for pages that you don’t need sidebar.
Thanks.
December 18, 2016 at 6:54 am #1297135
Bark201ParticipantThank you for the reply. The problem with blank pages (you tell me about full width) I that the entry title is not displaying and I would rather not touch the functions.php. If you can enable entry-title for all pages in your next theme’s update that will be better in terms of SEO and if I don’t want to title showing I can always hide it via CSS.
What is the default template for posts? Is there no way to disable it via CSS?
December 18, 2016 at 6:59 am #1297140
Bark201ParticipantOk, I tested the full-width option for posts and it doesn’t seem to affect the layout so if that will not remove the entry-title from posts and will not display the sidebars that will fix it. The problem remains with pages. Blank layout disables the entry-title, it will hurt my SEO. Is there a way to disable the sidebar for all pages with CSS?
December 18, 2016 at 8:44 am #1297190
ChristianModeratorThe Blank page templates was really designed to not have the page title so the user could have complete control of the content design.
In this case, you should add a headline manually using one of the headline elements and in the class field, add
entry-titleIt is possible to hide the sidebar but we do not support structural modifications. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/
Thank you for understanding.

Bark201ParticipantThank you for your reply, I will test the manual headline later on. Regarding the sidebars, I do understand. I am not asking for a modification but to just hide the sidebars on pages (pages only, not posts). This is like me asking to hide the title from posts, its not a modification. If this can be achieved via CSS I am sure many other users who purchased your theme will refer to this thread for guidance on the sidebars.
Awaiting your reply.
