Can the following be put in the sidebar via a text widget? I’ve tried to save and it disappears.

Does the page the shortcode was created on have to be published before it can be published in a text widget on the sidebar?

I cannot see where you have added the widget. Make sure that you use the exact code like this (https://snag.gy/9SpNUn.jpg).

Please try add the following code to your Appereance / Customizer / Custom / CSS

.textwidget .x-promo .x-btn.x-btn-rounded {
margin-top: 20px;
}
