for my 2 product pages im trying to set up a related links side bar. when i set the layout to sidebar nothing shows up.it only works if i set the whole site to use a side bar and i only want it on the 2 product pages.

Thanks for writing in! You will need to create a unique sidebar for a particular page and assign a Custom Menu widget to it, which contains a menu you create under Appearnace > Menus to place here. Then you can add this menu to all children pages of a parent page using the options under Appearance > Sidebars.

This is still not working for me, i made the custom menus, made the sidebars and set them to the child pages and still nothing. i tried setting the pages to default and layout – content left, sidebar right and still nothing.
nothings worked so far, please help i really need to get this done soon and its the last thing on this site.

Thank you for the credentials. To display a sidebar on product pages or on any other page, you’ll need to set Content Layout to Content Left, Sidebar Right via Appearance > Customize > Layout and Design. To make other pages Fullwidth just edit the page in WordPress page editor, under Page Attributes > Template choose Layout – Fullwidth page template.
