mat_kinotekParticipantHI,
I was using the ‘per page sidebar’ plug in which allowed me to show a sidebar in my shop page, but apparently after upgrading WP, i lost that functionality.
How can I have a sidebar in the shop page http://50.116.71.85/~cherryl9/?post_type=product ?
the theme layout in the appearance is set to ‘use global layout’ , but in the shop page there is nothing to select the layout. Please help!May 19, 2016 at 1:37 am #998891
RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.

mat_kinotekParticipantI deleted that plug in. I’m not using any plug in right now.
Is there a way in X to have the sidebar on product page?
ThanksMay 19, 2016 at 8:08 pm #1000594

mat_kinotekParticipanthi Thanks but that thread is for sidebar in product page.
I need th esudebar in the SHOP page ( http://50.116.71.85/~cherryl9/?post_type=product ). I tried several plug ins: “simple page sidebar” and “per page sidebar”. But none of those work anymore. Is there any other setting other than the one in the theme layout? What am I doing wrong?? help please! :-/May 19, 2016 at 11:49 pm #1000915
Nabeel AModeratorHi there,
Looks like the sidebar is not rendering on the shop page. Try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
