ITSourceParticipantBuilding a site quickly – imported from another site with different theme.
In customizer – as per design layout needs – chose full width instead of boxed.Converted almost entire site. Working on sidebars. Created custom sidebar. Sidebar not showing.
Didn’t know if it was an import problem.
I started a new page. http://mywichitasmallbusiness.com/test/ this ruled out import issue.
Deleted the custom sidebar.
Used the default main sidebar. Using custom text widget.Checked customizer. Under content layout – Content Left, Sidebar Right is chosen.
On the test page template layout content left… is ticked. Not working.
Edited the page in cornerstone.
Still not working.
Went back to using page as a wordpress page.
Changed widget to a default widget – calender.
Calendar working – not custom widget.
Change customizer setting to boxed not fullwidth.
Both the calendar and custom widget working.
Ok so if want a custom widget I don’t get fullwidth. What gives?
(Sorry for the length. Lol – in my other life I was a computer/device technician…I am used to troubleshooting…
And this user is client’s user.)June 29, 2016 at 2:09 pm #1065350
