Hi, i want to add a sidebar navigation menu in my blog section, however, I am only able to place widget areas on top of the post/blog page, so the sidebar is not on the side but on top of the content. Do i have to increase the sites width to be able to put the sidebar on the side? and if so it will mean that that will increase the width for all pages. How do i get the sidebar to be actually o the side?

    Hi Patrick,

Thanks for writing in. You can Edit the Blog page and set a Template Layout to have “Content Left, Sidebar right” under Page Attributes.

Then head over to Customizer > Blog > Layout and select the option “Use Global Content Layout”.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi There,

Please go to Appearance> Customize > Layout and Design > Content Layout : Choose either Content Left, Sidebar Right or Sidebar Left, Content Right.
Then on Appearance> Customize > Blog > Layout > Select Use Global content Layout.

    Hope this helps.
