andzzzParticipantHi..
I have created my site http://www.fdsee.net.au/ and am quite happy with it. But I now want to add a private section with a user guide and help menu for my product. I like this layout;
Not the columns page selected but the whole thing with the menu on the right which I could use like X Theme to enable users to get help on each section of my product. Is it possible to enable this on one of my pages, which I can then make only accessible to logged in users?
Any help much appreciated.
Andy

RupokMemberHi Andy,
Thanks for writing in! Your website seems blank hence not sure what you have currently. To make any page protected; you can try our
[protect][/protect]shortcode. The demo page is using the columns and a sidebar active that you can set from Customize > Layout and Design.Cheers!

Can I apply that to just one page?

Paul RModeratorHi Andy,
In that case, you can try wordpress Visibily feature.

RupokMemberHi there,
Yes you can use this on any page and also the suggestion of Paul should do the job but in that case people need to use the password to see the page.
Hope this makes sense.

andzzzParticipantI can see how to edit the theme to put the side bar on the right, but not how to apply it to only one page layout and then how to put the menu in the side bar

RupokMemberHi there,
As mentioned it will work for the content inside the shortcode if you are using the protect shortcode. That’s the simple application of that. If you are looking for more control; you might be interested to find a plugin to achieve this.
Thanks!
