    Hi

    I have had horrendous problems with my site and I am finally getting it sorted out. The last one is when I do a share to social media, the featured image is no longer being used in Facebook.

    The site is travelingisaverb.com.

    Hi there,

    If you set featured image then it should be used otherwise the image will be pulled from the content. You can set a social fallback image as well so that it could be used when featured image is not there. You can set this from Cusotmize > Social > Social Fallback Image

    Hi There,

    Upon checking and testing your website on my facebook I shared your url + 4 different posts and the feature image it is always working.

    I believe this is related to your facebook profile, it happens sometimes on mine, once the image fails to load it won´t load it again, i believe it is related to some type of facebook profile cache.

    Would you mind testing with a different profile just to confirm if it works, and in case it does work, please contact facebook.

    Otherwise contact us again and provide more details about what exactly it is not working.

    I think that is a great idea, except I really don’t know how to
    1. Turn Open graph data off everything
    2. Disabled and enabled all plug ins (do you just deactivate them?)

    It seems working fine now.

    Just always debug the page on the facebook debugger when you change or add featured image so it will fetch the new information, as facebook caching is so persistent.
