applegatetechParticipantHello,
Our website has about 1500 products. We have a Seeds category with multiple subcategories of Medicinal Herb Seeds (A-B, C-D, E-F, etc) with about 100 products in each subcategory. I want the products to appear after you hover over Seeds and then Medicinal Herb Seeds E-F allowing someone to quickly go to Echinacea for example. Here is a link to our current website that does this https://strictlymedicinalseeds.com
I have ubermenu installed.
Thanks,November 29, 2016 at 11:05 pm #1275575
RupokMemberHi there,
I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. Do you want to setup something like Megamenu? Let’s follow this – https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-megamenus/
Kindly clarify with an example if you are looking for something else.

applegatetechParticipantThanks for the reply. Basically I would like the menu to automatically show a list of the products rather than adding each product as a sub item to the menu. The screenshot shows the current structure. Each sub item has about 100 products.

RupokMemberHi there,
I don’t think there is any option to add them automatically. You need to add them manually as a sub item.
Thanks!

applegatetechParticipantIs there another type of menu that would auto generate a list based on categories. I see the dynamic posts option in ubermenu can do this but it is always visible. A drop down would be ideal.
Thanks.November 30, 2016 at 4:42 pm #1276626
applegatetechParticipantOkay I have the drop down working sort of. After enabling Allow Submenu Scrolling I can see most of the products. There seems to be a limit as to how many are shown even though I have selected unlimited in the ubermenu options for Dynamic Posts.

applegatetechParticipantYou can see where it gets cut off. How do I change the size of the dropdown box so I can see more results?
I am very new to wordpress so any help is appreciated. I am enjoying working with this theme! I am using Integrity.
Thanks.November 30, 2016 at 6:02 pm #1276672

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the credentials.
With your case we need to use columns to display third level menus. Since it’s too much to display in just one column, please choose multiple columns. Go to Appearance > Menu >Specific Dynamic Posts: Click the Ubermenu Icon. You can see that a popup will open. Go to Layout tab and set the columns. See attached screenshot.Hope this helps.
