    Hi,
I work in X-theme Icon and are currentluy setting up a new web shop. I was almost there, just fixing an issue with the “Return to shop” button (which everyone semms to be missing) when I most likely did something that corrupted the link to the shop page.
Neither the name of the front page, set in appearance, nor the directories appear.

If it’s possible for you to help me correct this I’d be forever greatful (you don’t want to know how many hours I’ve spent trying to figure it out :)).

I also have two other issues when the shop is visible again:
    1. If you can give me a hint on how to create a “return to shop” button placed after the “add to cart button” It would be very helpful…
    2. .. and the shipping adress does not show on the checkout page for some reason.

    Thanks!
    /Staffan

    Hi Staffan,

Usually it’s not possible and out of our support scope. But I can help you to add the button within the products with some custom JS. Kindly provide a product URL and show us the add to cart button. As your site is on different language, I can’t find the product or add to cart option.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Thanks writing in.

Please re-assign your shop page at Admin > Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Shop Page, select your Butik page as your shop page.

    Cheers!

    Hey Staffan,

Please clear your cache and try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Also, contact your hosting provider to upgrade your PHP version to 5.6 as that is recommended by WooCommerce (see attachment).

    Thanks.

    Hi there,
Thanks for your advice, but that didn’t help, unfortunately.
I’ll ask my hosting provider to update the PHP version – but do you really think thats the problem.
This all started when I turned the breadcrumbs on in the x-theme appearence page.

    Hello Staffan,

Breadcrumbs settings shouldn’t affect woocommerce settings.
Did you clear cache before the plugin conflict test? Checking for plugin conflict will not work if cache is not cleared because it will just reload the same content and settings. That’s the only issue I can see from your settings unless your hosting has cache service too?

    Hi,
    I did clear all caches.
And the fact remains that when I switched on the breadcrumb the shop page disconnected so something did happen then. The shop page with the name set in appearence “Recaremeds butik” showing the directories was replaced with a blank page with header “Butik” and nothing else. After that it has been impossible to see the correct shop page.
Could something have happened with the X php file that decides which design to use? Is it possible that the turning off of the breadcrumbs didn’t work?

    Thanks for your patience.

    Hi again,

When I submit http:// is added for some reason. I’m sure you know it should not be included.

    Hi there,

Looks like you updated your theme from the very old version of X, X shortcodes is there and just recently deactivated. Old X theme contains templates that deprecated on new X, updates can’t delete the theme.

Please reinstall your new X theme by deleting the old one first (to ensure it’s clean). I could do that but please backup your entire site first. Switching over can reset widgets, menus, and some settings.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
There seems to be no easy way to reinstall the X-them (no delete button) so yes please reinstall it for me.
I have run a complete backup.

I have of course updated all along from the very first X file I installed. Having made all uppdates requested – seems a bit odd that the updates do not cleans from old files.

    Thanks for your help.
