no matter what I change the template format to it never changes.
My goal is to not have the right column info appear. I want it to disappear.
I choose full width but it doesnt go away.
My goal would be to have only the products go across the screen from left to right .
2nd question.
On the shop page is it possible to pre-sort them by category or tag when they first appear?

1. You can change the layout of your shop page under woocommerce in the customizer.
I went ahead and change it to full width.

2. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
