    I’ve noticed a small issue when sharing pages on social media. If I share any page on my site the title and description I have set (using Yoast SEO) does not display and generic page / site description info is shown instead.

    However if I share a portfolio page then the title and description I have setup displays correctly when the page is shared (e.g on facebook).

    Is there a reason that pages / blog posts do not share the same way portfolio posts do?

    Any help resolving this issue would be appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! Title and description from YOAST should be shown. However it might take some time to propagate the content and you might not see that immediately. But YOAST works fine as many users using this.

    Thanks but a lot of the titles and descriptions have been in place for months now and they still aren’t appearing correctly??

    Hi there,

    Let’s point us the pages and would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi Steve,

    You need to disable open graph in Appearance > customize > socials > open graph when using yoast plugin
