guillekozubParticipantGood day, I bought X THEME recently, and after the installation of the theme, several issues have appeared.
The first problem, I can’t validate the theme. When I try to validate, wordpress throw me this text: “Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details.”. I don’t know what to do.
Another issue comes when I try to import content. Apparently the theme imports the content, but the page display code. Anything but code.
How can I solves this issues.
Many thanks

RupokMemberHi there,
Sorry to hear that. Since you didn’t validate properly yet, so the Cornerstone is not installed hence the code is showing.
Kindly remove the domain from your license and assign again from your Themeco license page. Then try validating again. If you still face issue, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– Purchase KeyDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

JoaoModeratorHi there,
Please contact your host provider and make sure required settings and options are available. Here is a form letter you may use:
Hello [provider], My WordPress installation is having a hard time making outbound HTTP requests. I’m using X theme and it makes a request to community.theme.co for setting up automatic updates. Here is the error message I’m receiving: [screenshot, or copy/paste the verbose error message (see above regarding the &x-verbose flag)] Could you please do the following? – Ensure my site can reach this domain: community.theme.co – Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled. – Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates. – Check into the error message above. Please advise on anything you discover. Thank you.
let us know how it goes.Once you have validated Cornerstone Should Install Automatically and the Theme will render the code.
You need Cornerstone installed and active in order that X Theme Works.
Hope that helps

guillekozubParticipantWell, good news, after follow those steps, the theme was validated. But, now it tells me that Cornerstone was unable to Install. It shows me this error: “Your WordPress file permissions do not allow plugins to be installed”. What should I do?
Many thanks

ThaiModeratorHi There,
In this case, you can manually install the Cornerstone plugin: https://community.theme.co/kb/manual-plugin-installation/.
