warephotographyParticipantHi there,
I am not 100% sure if there is something wrong or whether I am missing something.
The products we sell come in multiple sizes and also different frame types, which results in a lot of product variables.
Our website is: http://www.warephotography.com.au
For my products I have set two Attributes: ‘Photo Size’ and ‘Frame’
Currently I am needing to set variation images to all 42 variations to get my product page to work correctly when people make selections.
What I am wanting to do is set the ‘Photo Size’ attribute to ‘Any Photo size…’ and then set the ‘Frame’ attribute to the specific coloured frame. That way no matter what size someone selects it will display the coloured frame.
It will mean i only need to set 6 variation images instead of 42.
Any help would be great.

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
That’s actually possible and that’s how variable products works. Though, I’m not sure about 6 variation images, you mean you wish to only upload the frame 6 times and it automatically applies to all sizes? That’s not currently possible. But yes, doable with custom development and quite complicated. You may wish to contact a developer for image implementation.
Thanks!

warephotographyParticipantThanks for replying Rad.
We have 6 different frame types so it would be ideal to have these set as ‘Any size…’ so that when someone buys an image they can see what each frame looks like and then pick the size they want.

ChristianModeratorHey there,
You will need to create custom image sizes for that. Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It would require WooCommerce custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
