LumoDesignParticipantHi there,
How do I set-up and get ‘Terms Of Use’ addon to work?
I’ve followed the documentation on the Knowledge Base.
I’ve enabled the addon and applied it to a page.
But it doesn’t show up on the page and there is no where to set up what the terms are or any other information.
The documentation seems to stop very short of how this addon works??
Thanks
Ed

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
This plugin will allow you to add a simple terms of use that visitors must agree to before completing user registration. Please add registration widget to your site.
Hope it helps.

LumoDesignParticipantSorry that doesn’t help at all.
I don’t mean to be rude, as your support is usually very good, but did you read my question?
How do I set it up? Not what does it do.
thanks
Ed

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. You need to understand what’s the addon is about and what it supposed to do. You are thinking it will set a page with terms and conditions but it’s not and you don’t need an addon to set a page for this because you can create a page and paste your terms and conditions there.
Please read up the extension page then you will understand what’s the purpose of this. If you still have any question, let us know.
Cheers!

LumoDesignParticipantI’m sorry I still don’t really understand. Is there any more documentation than the very limited explanation on the link you’ve provided?
Thanks

ChristianModeratorHey Ed,
The details of each Addons’ options could be accessed in the About meta box (see attachment).
As stated there:
The page selected for this option will be linked out to when a user is signing up on the registration page.
With that said, you should setup a registration page and you will see the link to your terms page.
Hope that makes sense.
