Hello! I’ve been searching the forums trying to find an answer to this question, almost found it here: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/post-slider-clear-image-post-excerpt-and-remove-view-post/

Is it possible to set the height of the Post Slider on Ethos to the dimensions of the featured image of the post? If i set it to “cover” it shows the whole image, but there is added whitespace depending on the width of the browser.

The functionality that i want is to be able to “pin” a featured post on the top of the page for a distinct period of time and allow people to still scroll through the rest of the site. Maybe there is a better way to do this than how i’m thinking?

I figured a way around it using slider revolution, so no worries!

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing back. I think using Revolution Slider won’t affect the performance much and it seems fine to me as I can’t see any lag in loading. So you can keep this as is if that works for you. If you still want to use the Post Slider then set it back and add a screenshot that how you want to modify this. We’ll try to provide your some CSS to achieve this. I can’t give you guarantee but if that’s possible, we’ll surely do our best to assist you to achieve this.

    Cheers!
