Hi there,
First off, thank you for developing the best WordPress theme I’ve ever used.
I’d like to create a blog post with an image that also contains an excerpt of the post (60 characters). Similar to the attached (23 am.png)
However when I set the post to format to image and upload the “featured image” the excerpt of text disappears and the image in huge (37 am.png).
Can you please help? Thanks!
For clarity, I’d like the post on the blog page to look like the attached. An image for each post, the excerpt of text and a read more button.

Thank you for your kind words.
First, please use the Standard Post Format. The Image format doesn’t have an excerpt.
In Appearance > Customize, set Blog > Style to Masonry and set Full Post Content on Index to Off then set the desired Excerpt Length. Please see https://community.theme.co/kb/customizer-blog/ for more details.

Never mind, just figured it out thanks to your direction. Set to standard AND added feature image. All set. Sorry for the trouble.
