    Hello,

    I am working on a site for a client using this website as a model: http://www.catalinachamber.com/

    I am curious if there is a way to have the same semi-transparent background for the main navigation, which would allow any image to be used as a background and still allow for the menu items to be visible.

    Also, is there a way to put words, similar to the “Relax you’re on island time” or an image in a location that is similar to the model website?

    Thank you,

    Warren

    Hi there,

    Please set up slider below masthead, add image as background and ‘Relax youโ€™re on island time’ as slide’s layer.
    Check this link :
    https://community.theme.co/kb/sliders/

    Download image background from http://www.catalinachamber.com/wp-content/themes/catalinaisland/images/bg-bottom.png and upload it to your host.

    Please add following code in Customize -> Custom -> Global CSS :

    .x-navbar{
    background:url("add image URL here");
    }

    Hope it helps.

    May I ask which stack you would suggest?
