ChumanParticipantHello,
I am working on a site for a client using this website as a model: http://www.catalinachamber.com/
I am curious if there is a way to have the same semi-transparent background for the main navigation, which would allow any image to be used as a background and still allow for the menu items to be visible.
Also, is there a way to put words, similar to the “Relax you’re on island time” or an image in a location that is similar to the model website?
Thank you,
Warren

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please set up slider below masthead, add image as background and ‘Relax youโre on island time’ as slide’s layer.
Check this link :
https://community.theme.co/kb/sliders/Download image background from http://www.catalinachamber.com/wp-content/themes/catalinaisland/images/bg-bottom.png and upload it to your host.
Please add following code in Customize -> Custom -> Global CSS :
.x-navbar{ background:url("add image URL here"); }Hope it helps.

ChumanParticipantMay I ask which stack you would suggest?

Paul RModeratorHi,
You can try integrity Stack
You can also browse through our demos and select the one that is close to your sample site.
Thanks
