Antony HParticipantI’m working on a site and it looks fine in Cornerstone, but on the live site two large sections are missing. Please see screenshots.
I’ve tried disabling plugins, but it doesn’t seem to help.
Thanks

RupokMemberHi there,
I have checked and it seems unusual. I guess it’s causing by the addon you are using to add the separator as it might preventing the usual section structure by pushing extra sections as divider.
Thanks!
November 10, 2016 at 11:22 am #1251971
Antony HParticipantThanks. It can’t be the addon though, because it happens even when disabled.

Antony HParticipantAlso, it worked fine to start with and the problem occurred spontaneously without warning.

JadeModeratorHi Antony,
Please try to check the HTML codes in every element and make sure that every open tags are properly closed. Also try adding a gap element between the two SVG separators.
Let us know how it goes.

Antony HParticipantHi,
How do I “check the HTML codes in every element” within Cornerstone please?
November 11, 2016 at 6:08 am #1253222
Antony HParticipantOkay, I worked it out. Yes it was missing a closing tag on one of the HTML elements I added.
I now have another weird issue though. The ‘type-text’ element is causing strange flashing of white to pop up on the screen. Again, I checked for plugin issues and that doesn’t resolve the problem. I tried to get a screenshot but it’s too fast, basically it seems to happen when the ‘type-text’ reaches the end of its cycle.
Can you help please?

RadModeratorHi there,
How about a video recording? I checked and can’t see the type-text issue.
Thanks!
November 11, 2016 at 7:44 am #1253297
Antony HParticipantOkay, managed to get a screen grab of the split second when this occurs. Please compare this to how the site looks when this isn’t happening and you’ll see the issue.
I wasn’t sure what was causing it at first but, through a process of elimination, I’ve identified the ‘text-type’ element as the culprit. As you can see when the boxes flash on the screen the only thing that remains visible through them is the ‘text-type’ cursor.
Thanks!

JadeModeratorHi Antony,
I have checked your site but it seems to be working fine on my end as I can’t see the flickering on the page when the text type finishes. See screencast below. We’re you able to get the issue sorted already?

Thanks!
November 12, 2016 at 3:35 am #1254277
Antony HParticipantNo sorry it isn’t fixed. I’ve looked into it further and it seems it only happens on PC when using Chrome. Also, it doesn’t exclusively occur on the last cycle of the ‘text-type’ element, but it is definitely related to this element as it doesn’t happen when I remove it. Thanks.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
I just checked your site on chrome browser and still wasn’t able to replicate the issue. Please see the attachment.
Please clear cache and check again.Hope it helps.
