michaelxxxParticipantHi,
I have tried to deactivate some columns under posts in the screen options, for example “Author”.
But the columns I deactivate will not be saved – all columns are shown. In my database under wp_usermeta is following data saved:
a:7:{i:0;s:12:"wps_subtitle";i:1;s:6:"author";i:2;s:8:"comments";i:3;s:14:"search_exclude";i:4;s:11:"wpseo-title";i:5;s:14:"wpseo-metadesc";i:6;s:13:"wpseo-focuskw";}These are the fields I like to deactivate. But they were still shown in wordpress.
Do you know why?June 25, 2016 at 9:08 pm #1059693
RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
What does that data do? And would you mind providing a video recording of the issues?
I’m not really sure what columns, is it the columns within the admin?
Thanks!

michaelxxxParticipantI made 2 screenshots. Yes, the columns under posts in the screen options within the admin.
No. 1 at the screen is how is looks right now.
No. 2 at the screen is how I like to have it (less columns)But the screen options can not be saved. It always looks like in screen No. 1
When I change the number at “Number of items per page” – this will be saved.I develop local, so I canĀ“t give you online access.

ChristianModeratorIt looks like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.
