sleinenParticipantOn my client’s webiste here: http://plbbusinessconsulting.com/ I have been making changes and none of my changes are showing after logging out. The changes are still there when I log back in, but aren’t showing for any logged out users. The changes include customizer menu and footer content changes, cornerstone content and image changes, adding blog posts and blog post changes with the regular text editor.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
– updating all WP (4.5.3), x theme (Version: 4.6.0), and plugins (Cornerstone Version 1.3.0)
– clearing cache from browser and deleting page cache using WP supercache
– deactivating all my plugins
– deleting WP supercache completely
– checking various browsers
– adding define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ ); to the wp-config.php file
Please advise.
thanks,

Paul RModeratorHi Susan,
Thank you for providing your login credentials.
I tried editing and updating but I can’t seem to replicate the issue on my end.
Every time I do an update it shows when I’m logged out
http://plbbusinessconsulting.com/sample-page/
Is it happening to all your pages or just one specific page?
Thanks

sleinenParticipantThanks – I can see your new sample page when logged out and I made changes to it and can see those. I can also make new pages and new posts, but I cannot make changes to the existing pages, posts, footer, menu, etc.
See the attached two screen shots of the home page showing the differences. (the two newest blog posts are not showing up as published when logged out, the new footer link, and the home page image).July 19, 2016 at 12:40 pm #1093918

sleinenParticipantI received some errors from my security plugin – IThemes security. It looks like it had set my computer as a “banned user” so I deleted the plugin. I’m not sure if that had anything to do with it, but it is still not showing me the updated home page when I am logged out.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
I cannot replicate the issue on my end.
Please try doing the changes with a different browser.
Also if you are still experiencing the issue after that please let us know what change you are trying to do so we can test it, but it is unlikely that there is an issue in a specific part.
I just added … after read more on your home page on the section – Who is PLB Business Consulting?
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Joao

sleinenParticipantI tried editing in Firefox and had same result – I can see my changes in while logged in (deleted “…” after “what people are saying”, but not while logged out. I also could not see your home page change when logged out. I also created a new user and tried editing while logged in as a new user with the same result.
Please advise!July 19, 2016 at 11:51 pm #1094761
LelyModeratorHi There,
I can see that on your homepage, Who is PLB Business Consulting? section are showing different content. You don’t have a caching plugin but then there are some content that says from cache. So this might be caching issue. See attached screenshot. In case you do have caching on your hosting, please delete/purge cache. Do let us know how this goes.

sleinenParticipantI installed WP Supercache and went through the “delete cache” process – no change.
Your screen shot shows cached data from “revolution” which is the slider – I haven’t made any changes to the slider, so that is not an issue. I really need to get this solved for my client ASAP. Thank you for your help.
FYI – I’ve also tried making changes from a different computer with the same result. My client has made some of these changes from her computer/ login with same result.July 20, 2016 at 5:08 pm #1096003
sleinenParticipantThis problem has been resolved. My host company deleted page cache through their end and that solved the problem. (I don’t know why I couldn’t do this from my dashboard, but at least the problem is solved.)
thanks!July 20, 2016 at 7:07 pm #1096099
RadModeratorGlad it works now, they probably has their own cache feature.
