    Hello,
Just updated my plugins in WordPress, and when I try to go back into my WP Admin page, I get this error. Ouch!

    Hello There,

Thanks for updating. You can try re-installing Revolution Slider. To do this remove the folder revslider from wp-content/plugins/ by FTP and install it again from X Addons > Extensions.

Let us know how it goes.

    Cheers!

    Thanks for the response.

I have it fixed now, but it’s very odd. It happened after doing a theme and plugins update, which I hadn’t done for ages.

I went back to a previous backup and then tried the update again … Same error.
Then I updated the Theme only, and then all plugins except Rev Slider. Finally I did Rev Slider and it worked.

Does doing the updates n a specific order make sense?

    Hi Mike,

Glad you were able to resolve it. Basically your error denotes that the required file is missing. It is possible that it could happen when you’re updating due to intermittent connection issues.

In such cases, re-installation of the plugin should resolve your issues. Also it’s a best practice to keep a backup of your sliders.

    Thanks!
