CleopatraParticipantI’ve been going around in circles this weekend trying to figure out why…
The background video on my homepage revslider is partially loading many times, causing errors on pingdom (206 Partial Content. ERROR Connection Error)
I’ve taken the plunge and gone through the most excellent Alexei tutorial and reduced pageload speed from 12secs to just under two, but it’s kicking out errors for the background video.
Take a look at the waterfall on pingdom:
https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/urftn/www.celticquestcoasteering.com
coasteering-cliff-jumping.mp4 is the culprit
Any ideas/top tips would be most welcome 🙂

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
It loads fast on my end, the video plays right away when I loaded the page. Though, if you really wish to improve the video loading then you can host your video file outside your site. Like CDN or any video hosting site that supports fast streaming. Then just use the video URL within your slider.
Thanks!
