afleischerParticipantI have a site with an above-masthead Revolution Slider, with 4 images that rotate. There’s no transition between the images. I recently updated to the newest version of Revolution Slider, there’s now a delay between each slide appearing that I can’t seem to get rid of – the slide background is transparent, so it shows the gray background color of the site for a few moments before transitioning to the next image. Any idea how I can get rid of this?

JoaoModeratorHi There
Once you are inside your Slides Click On Animation and select the type of transition desired.
At the moment you have No Transition Selected.
Hope that helps,
Joao

afleischerParticipantHi Joao,
The client didn’t want any sort of transition animation, just one slide to the next. This was working fine until I updated Revolution Slider, and it added a delay that I need to remove. Can you help me with this?

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Please set your each of your image as slide background and not as image layer. For your text, the best setup would be to set it as static layer. See https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/second-steps/#manageslides for more details.
If that doesn’t help, please uninstall Slider Revolution then install again via Addons.
Thanks.

afleischerParticipantThis exactly did the trick – static layer so the text doesn’t disappear and re-appear, and background for the images instead of an image layer. For some reason when I did added the images as background in a previous version, I was getting black bars at the top and bottom (with the images at 1920 x 1080), but that is not longer an issue.
Thanks for the help Christian!
