    Hi,

I created a slider of youtube videos but it won’t loop.
Whenever the slider completes a loop and reaches the first slide again, regardless of whether the slides changed automatically or not, the video ‘thumbnail’ disappears (for all slides) leaving a black background with just the youtube player controls at the bottom. It stays this way no matter how many times I change slides or how many loops are completed.

In an older version of the plugin (coupled with an older version of theme) running the same slider, I never faced this problem.

    Thank you! 🙂

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Could you please mention the two version numbers that you have tested? So that we can test on our end and identify the issue.

In the meantime, please disable all the 3rd party plugins and test for a plugin conflict in that site.

    Thanks!

Hi Darshana, thanks for the reply.

    Working version number:
    Rev Slider: 4.6.5, Theme 3.2.2

    Now working version number:
    Rev Slider 5.2.4.1, Theme 4.4.2

I disabled all the plugins except of Cornerstone and Revolution Slider yet the problem persists.

    Hello There,

To properly set up the Youtube video in your slider, please check the documentation here:

    https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/main-background/?tab=youtube

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I looked in the documentation and found instructions to add a play button to the preview images, and now I am happy with the result.

    Thank you!

Glad to hear that you were able to achieve it.
