    Hello everyone,

After updating, revolution slider is no longer loading. I can see only the loading dots and that’s it. I see a new error in the code: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property ‘bgs’ of undefined(…)

The weirdest part is that I tried restoring backups from 1 month ago and from 6 months ago and i sill have such problem, while I am sure it worked a week ago. Perhaps some cache? I tried clearing everything I could figure out. Then I realized I can’t even Preview the slider within WP, so i guess it’s not a cache problem.

Does anyone have a clue what it could be causing that problem?

    Thank you!!

After disabling parallax effects the error changes to:

I had caching plugin, but it is disabled. It also seems I had cloudflare, but I’m not sure if it was actually working. Should I just wait for the cache or something to fix it on its own 🙂

    THanks

    Hi Rusi,

I’d like to check more but the login access you have provided doesn’t seem to work.

Would you mind double checking so we could check this for you?

    Thank you.

    Hello There,

Thanks for providing the information. I have created a test page and I can confirmed and have seen the warning message in your site:

Please make sure that you are using the latest compatible Slider revolution plugin. After updating, please clear all your site cache. It would be good to know if your hosting provider has a caching mechanism and clear your site cache from there.

    Hope this helps.

OK, I am the stupidest idiot ever. I thought I have exhausted the possibility of it being a cache problem, but I didn’t…

I had Cloudflare and WP-Rocket for caching on my side, but I didn’t notice cPanel got some update, probably a while ago and I didn’t notice, and they forced Varnish cache on me. (if anyone has such problem, just find Varnish caching and click “purge cache”… 5 sec fix)

Everything works fine, Sorry for wasting your time, Rue and Jade!
