    Hi,
I have a feeling that this might be a simple fix, but I have been fiddling for ages and can’t resolve these two revolution slider issues:

    1. My logo and text fade in, but then they fade out. I want them to stay on the screen, but they don’t. How can I fix this please?

    2. My hero image is too long. Is there a way that it can adapt to the screen size?

    Details of site sent separately.
    Thanks
    Nicole

    Hi Nicole,

Thanks for writing in! I have checked your slider and seems you have set the fade in and fade out. Kindly follow the Revolution Slider Documentation for more information since you must need to know about these basic configuration.

If you find anything that’s not working as expected, let us know.

    Cheers!

    Hi there,
I may have accidentally set the fade out, but I don’t know how. I am happy to go back to documentation, but there is so much documentation it is overwhelming (and I have been pouring over it). Can you be more specific about what part of the documentation please?

I simply want the logo not to fade out and I need to work out how the main image can adapt based on screen size so that it isn’t too long.

I know that slider revolution isn’t your product, but it is a key feature in many of the x-theme demos and a key reason that attracts people to buy x theme.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    thanks
    Nicole

    Hi Nicole,

It looks like some cache, I did nothing but just re-saved it and it’s now working.

The text and logo now staying. About being responsive, there is no need for custom grid since it’s just small logo and text. What you could do is decrease your grid size (default one) to something like 767×300. Then choose the fullscreen layout so it will respond well. It should be noticeable under your slider settings 🙂

    Thanks!

Thanks Rad – much appreciated. I have changed it to full-screen and changed the notebook custom grid size to 767 x 300. This decreases the size of the image which is good, but the logo and text are now tiny. I changed it back to auto and it is not reverting back.

    Hi there,

Please check the attachment, this is how slider displays on my end.
Please clear cache and check again.

    Thanks.

Thanks – how do you clear the cache? The logo and text has reduced in size, but I should be able to increase this now.

Please see your caching plugin’s documentation or contact your host if they have a internal caching system.

    Thanks.
