    I have bought the X theme but the revolution slider is not working and not activated.

    How do i activate it?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! You don’t need any license key for Revolution Slider plugin that ships with X theme. You can simply install it through X Addons section within your WordPress backend and then activate it through Plugins section within your WordPress backend.

    Salo I experienced the same thing this morning with my Revolution Slider not displaying. We aren’t direct purchasers of the plugin so we’re not going to get the Slider Revolution Addons I don’t think. There’s a double jquery entry in the body or something (I got the error once but have since been unable to get it again). What I did to temporarily solve it was to turn on the troubleshooting options in the slider settings and it got me up and running again in everything but Internet Explorer. If this is your problem I hope it helps.

    I’m currently trying to figure out how to get it working in IE.

    Same here. The revolution slider stopped working as soon as I updated to 5.3.0. It says there is an update available, but then I can’t update because it supposedly is not activated. However in the X-theme addons it shows that it is indeed activated. Please fix this soon..

    Hi There,

    You cannot “activate/validate” the version of Revolution Slider that comes bundled with X, you can just do that if you purchase the plugin separably.

    BUT the version that comes with X is a full version that works 100% as the purchased one, the only difference is that you need to import templates manually in case you want to use them.

    You should be able to upgrade it without problems, just go to your Wp Admin > Plugins and update it.
