    Hello support,

    Having used X theme for a few sites now, I am presented with an issue I have not seen before.

    Rev Slider has stopped working (it displays slide 1 on my home page, and doesn’t rotate to any others). When I access the slides in the plugin console, I am prevented with half visible messages- see attached image.

    I have never experienced this with the plugin. Could somebody please direct me as I don’t know where to go from here?

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in.

    There is a new release of Rev slider version due to some issue with the previous version. Please remove and update your rev slider to the latest version compatible with X theme. Latest version can be seen here: https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/

    Update your X theme if your X theme is not updated then re-install again Rev slider using X addson.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response.

    I have tried as you suggested. I uninstalled the plugin, made sure X theme is the latest version (and it was), and reinstalled the slider from X Addons.

    However the error messages are still there.

    Can you suggest something else here?

    Hello James,

    I have checked your site and the Slider Revolution. I see the element in your slider. This is not an error. This is a notification that should be at the top of the page because this is just a dashboard notifications. However, this notification is misplaced. I can confirm that this is bug in the latest release. I will personally coordinate our developers so that they can discuss this bug to the creators of the Slider Revolution. Once they’ll have this fixed, it will be updated and will be rolled up in the next release update.
