Right Angle SParticipantHi guys,
I’m trying to use the Google font ‘Open Sans regular 400’ on a revolution slider however I cannot install it.
The font is already in use across the site but no matter what I type in on the Add New Google Font section of the Revolution Slide settings I can’t get it to work. It doesn’t even show up as an option.I have tried what has been suggested on https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/google-fonts-and-font-editing-in-revolution-slider/
and tried pasting in <link href=’https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans’ rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’>
and font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif;
but have not been successful.
Please can you advise how to get this to work?
Thanks in advance for your help.Nick

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Although this link refers to Essential Grid it is also valid to Revolution Slider

Right Angle SParticipantHi Joao,
Thank’s for getting back to me so promptly, however I’m still not having any luck.
When I copy the google font parameter name in to Revolution Slider nothing happens.
Do I need to install Punch Fonts to first of all install the font?Open Sans is currently in use throughout the rest of the site.

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Your Google Font setup is incorrect (see attachment). You just need to put
Open+SansorOpen+Sans:400,600for specific font weights.I strongly recommend that you update to the latest version of Slider Revolution though for easy Google Font setup. See the links below.
https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/google-fonts/
https://www.themepunch.com/faq/version-5-1-update-ui-improvements/Placing text outside of slider setttings is technically possible however, that would require custom development which falls outside the scope of our support. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/
Thanks.
