Hi, I’m trying to authorize my revolution slider with your Item Purchase code ( I bough the X theme in February) but rev. slider won;t accept it. I need to upgrade because after the new WP release it stopped working.

You don’t use the X purchase code to authorize the revolution slider. Unless you want the premium features of Revolution slider, you don’t need to authorize it, it’s authorized with the purchase of X. That being said, you’ve got another issue.

Make sure you’re using the most recent version of X, and Rev Slider. Go into your plugins, make sure they’re updated.

but I cannot update the rev slider unless it’s registered, and to do that i need the purchase code.

Rev slider says to contact you to get the last version of their plug-in: https://www.themepunch.com/faq/update-plugin-packaged-theme/ so I can manually install. Can you send it to me please?

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Since the Revolution Slider is bundled with the X|Theme, you don’t need to register. The plugin functions 100% without license registration.

We include the plugin within X, so rather than update directly via the Plugin developers automatic updater, that update is included in a X update release.

We always try and upgrade as soon as possible when a new plugin release is made to ensure our customers are using the latest version. This isn’t always possible for example if we submit a update to Envato and our update is in review while a new plugin version comes out, that version would have to wait for our next update.

If a plugin includes any major fixes, for example a security issue, or a plugin breaking bug that prevents all functionality we update right away.

If a plugin update just includes minor bug fixes or improvements, then generally we wait to bundle that version until our planned update is ready to come out.

OK, i deleted and re-installed the revslider plpug-in and it’s still not working: http://50.116.71.85/~cherryl9/
It stopped working when I migrated the files in my new folder, and when I updated WP. I checked the paths of the slides and they are correct. I followed rev slider tutorials and still nothing showing up.
What else can I do? I really don’t know what else shall i look into
