ProPositivoParticipantHi,
I deactivated a plugin called “Facebook Page Promoter Lightbox” and as a result Revolution slider, the submenu navigation, and other sliders stop working and displaying in all the website. The Blog page completely stop scrolling. Another plugin called “advanced Slider” has broken, showing fragmented pieces of pictures and text. I tried deactivating and reactivating those plugins but nothing has changed. I also tried exporting my slides deleting/reinstalling revolution slider, but now I have more trouble than before in the plugin settings. I am afraid to deactivate all the third party plugin, because if the deactivation of just one plugin created all this mess what will happen if I deactivate all of them?
I really need your help. I am adding my credential in the next private post.August 13, 2016 at 11:39 am #1130006

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! Since you have installed a caching plugin WP Super Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.

ProPositivoParticipantHello Rue Nel, Thanks for your reply. I have cleared my plugin cache and deactivated the plugin too but the problem was still persisting. Following the logic you suggested I deactivated WP Minify, a plugin to combine and compress JS and CSS files to improve page load time. As a result, the website is now working again.
Thanks so muchAugust 17, 2016 at 8:56 am #1135200
