    Hi,

I have an issue when having a slider perfectly fitting my macbook, and then on a 27″ iMac the parallax images overflows and looks horrible.

One thing I noticed, is that if I make a section with a container in CS and put rev slider element inside, I get the boxed version and it doesnt overflow on 27″. However, it makes the macbook screen also boxed and I dont want that.

Can you take a look? I must have tried everything.

    Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Thank you.

Ok, if you view the slider on a large wide screen monitor, the layers of the slider overlaps and flows out beyond the boundaries of the slider when you move the mouse pointer. It looks good on my 15″ macbook and OK on smaller screens. But I cant let the client have a slider that looks broken on larger screens. If I set “column container” on the row i get the overflow contained on larger screens but then it is also “boxed in” on smaller screens and I dont want that. This is the example I have on this. There is a container there but it looks much more subtle then on my own site.

    Hope I got clearer 🙂

    Hi there,

Please try setting your grid size equivalent to the size of 27″ resolution. The problem with your slider is it’s set to full screen which doesn’t have a good effect on parallax effect. Responsiveness only takes effect on current grid size and below, and not for current grid size and above. It’s purpose is to respond on smaller device and not on devices larger than the slider itself.

    Thanks!

Ok, I will try a version with 27″ grid size. But is there a way to minus margin the container that boxes in the slider with “column container”? That way I could tweak the container on macbook so it seems to be fullwith or at least almost, but is boxed for sure on iMac 27″ and the layers would flow under the container walls? Right now I cant just munis margin the sides of the container, it stays the same.

    Hi there,

Changing the width of container to reduce the margin will float slider to left side.
    Please follow our previous replay.

    Hope it helps.

    Ok,

The suggestion seems to be working 🙂 Just needs a couple of days of tweaking:-)
