birdycomParticipantHi, I’ve been trying to revert a page to an earlier version using the standard WP functionality (revisions).
As I read in this thread this should work but there is a confirmed bug as late as February 2016 which prevents this.
https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/reverting-to-an-earlier-revision-when-using-cornerstone/page/2/Is this bug still not fixed? I’m using Cornerstone 1.3.3 and while I can revert the page I can’t edit it in Cornerstone again.
I’m trapped!

ChristianModeratorHey Petter,
Though the revision feature of WordPress works with Cornerstone (just tested in my test site), it is recommended that you backup everything in your site including the database so you can restore in case using the revision breaks your Cornerstone page.
Thanks.

birdycomParticipantOk, so in other words it’s very unstable, or how shall I interpret that answer?
(And since it broke my page.)
And reverting the dB is not an option since other changes will get lost, so I guess I’m stuck, or?

RadModeratorHi there,
Yes, Cornerstone will try to sync with WordPress revision system but it can still fail in some cases. WordPress revision is best fitted for editor’s content and not for the content made outside of it. We’re on it, we’ll surely improve it 🙂
You have three options, restore database, restore templates if you have it exported before, or re-do the content.
Thanks for understanding.
