flysocalParticipantI’v modified an Ethos theme a bit and now that I have content on my site… I wonder what it would look like with some of the original settings.
With your teams assistance, we’ve modified the child functions.php, content.php and wp-single.php, in addition to some CSS and Javascript. How would I see what my site would look like if I reverted to the original theme without modifications, without losing the ability to come back to my site as it is today? Is this possible?
Thanks,

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! To do what you want to see using the default Ethos stack, please do the following steps:
1] Create a site backup first. This is important so that you can go to the previous state if something bad happens.
2] Go to X Addons > Customizer Manager and download the XCS file to your local computer. This will contain all your current theme customizer settings.
3] You can now deactivate the child theme and active the parent X theme. Having to active the X theme will see to it that all the functions and features will be the defaults by X.
4] Once you are satisfied, you can reactivate the child theme again.
5] And to make sure that you have the same previous settings, you can import the XCS file in the X Addons > Customizer Manager.Hope this helps.
