Olianna PParticipantHi,
I read info on this already but still having trouble removing the cover image on my contact page slider. I would like it to go straight to video without the loading of YouTube play button. Can you help?
Thanks!

JoaoModeratorHi Alan,
Kindly review our earlier response: https://community.theme.co//forums/topic/revolution-slider-with-video-layer-cant-hide-play-pause-button/#post-110916 it is not possible to hide the controls on an embedded video unless there’s an option provided by the Vimeo itself. While it is not possible to hide the controls, you could try using this CSS code under Custom > CSS in the Customizer:
.fullscreenvideo.tp-videolayer { position: relative; } .fullscreenvideo.tp-videolayer:before { content: ''; position: absolute; width: 100%; height: 100%; left: 0; top: 0; }This code will add a transparent wrapper over the video that will stop the user interaction to the video and because of it the controls won’t appear on hover.
Hope that helps
Joao

Olianna PParticipantIt didn’t change anything I’m afraid but just to clarify- I used a template that include a combo of image plus video. I have managed to change the video to my own. However, I’m having trouble changing the cover image or deleting it altogether. The image is not a part of the video.

Olianna PParticipantOh, I was referring to deleting the cover image that appears before the video but I do see what u mean. Is there a way to start playing the video 3 seconds in?

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates! What I can recommend is to edit your slider and make sure that you have force the cover with the image you have assigned. And also, you can choose the start and the time to stop the video. You can also set the video to play in loop so that you will not see the default Youtube video cover.

Hope this helps.

Olianna PParticipantThanks for this, Rue Nel!
I was able to loop the video however, I’m having a trouble deleting the cover image and starting the video later to avoid the YouTube play button. I tried at 0.18 seconds but it didn’t make any difference?!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
We cannot control the play button because it is coming from youtube. You will clearly notice it when you reload the page, you can barely see the play button if the YouTube video is already loaded. Please try to edit your Youtube video and add some video cover.
Please let us know how it goes.
