I have some generic text layers in a slider that aren’t ready for prime time. I “turned them off” using the eyeball switch. In preview it works fine but when going to live site I am still seeing the “yadayada”

That won’t do because it is only for preview. You’ll need to delete the layer.

Actually I found that by just deleting the text it works. This way if they want to add some text, I don’t need to create new layers, animation etc
