    We have a site that works in regards to responsiveness on almost all devices. The one issue we are encountering is with phablets. Very high resolution small screens are being treated like desktops because of the resolution size and it is making the scaling very strange.

    I was curious if there is CSS or Jquery code we could add to fix this issue.

    Thanks for providing the url. Please keep in mind that when the screen size is less than 980 pixels, it will change its display to a mobile display layout. Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Ok. What I mean is that on phones like the new Galaxy S7 that has 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution are reacting strangely to the responsiveness. It is taking a resolution that high as a sign that it is a desktop. We are hoping to find something that will help it realize that even at this high resolution that it is a smart phhone and display the mobile site.

    Hi there,

    Yes, with new devices now, they share the same feature as the desktop now. And now desktop has come with touch features too. The two device category is now overlapping. Harder to determine if it’s mobile based on touchscreen or desktop based on the resolution since both has it. We’re still looking the best way to improve it.

    I assume you’re referring to the menu? Would you mind providing some screenshots? Maybe we can fix that through CSS or viewport scale.

    The main issues we are having is text scaling too large, and the header and footer being significantly larger on high res phones.
