strobleyParticipantHi Themeco,
Bit of a random question… I think (please correct if wrong!), that X is coded using a ‘Extra Large’ first responsive approach. i.e. all style defaults are for larger displays then @media changes for smaller devices.
My question is: Will this approach remain in X version 5 (X5) or will it move it a mobile first or ‘Extra Small’ first responsive approach? i.e. all style defaults are for smaller displays then @media changes for larger devices.
The reason I ask is – I’m coding custom styles and would like maintain consistency in my responsive approach to be the same X Developers… its just easier for me find problems that way, keeping it all the same as the awesome X!
Many thanks.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! I can’t tell you much about the approach of v5 yet. But if you explore the modern web approach then you will find lot of write-up about Mobile-first is dead.
Cheers!

Nabeel AModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! This is the standard approach used in almost all the themes presently. In the later versions of X, same responsive approach will be followed i.e. all style defaults are for larger displays then @media changes for smaller devices.
Hope this helps!
