    In the process of updating and making changes on my site some of the formatting has gotten messed up. Is there a way to reset the shortcodes and theme so everything looks as it should?

    Here are a couple things that are off:

    1) The spacing is off on my circles and the icons and headers aren’t lining up. http://screencast.com/t/qlB1mQ4xA

    2) On mobile, many of the lines are messed up. Images either show up twice or not at all. The spacing is off between headers and icons.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Can you first try to undo the changes you made and see if it solves the issue for you?

    Hi There,

    If you have followed a good tutorial and removed the malware from your website I believe you don´t need to reset anything, specially your Customizer settings, I don´t see much relation between your issues and it.

    I believe this issue could be cause because you are running an outdated version of Visual Composer.

    Try updating Visual Composer and your other plugins and let us know how it goes.

    It looks as though I need to purchase a license for visual composer? Is that correct? If not, I’m not sure where to go to update VC. Any help would be really appreciated! Thank you!

    Is it something I should deactivate? I believe VC came with my purchase of X Theme. Could they be competing and messing up my formatting?

    Hi there,

    It seems you are using Visual Composer 4.11.2.1 which is latest supported version. WPBakery has released a new version but that’s not yet available on Themeco end as we need to test the compatibility first. So you are actually using the latest version and VC is not an issue. Let’s check others and rectify them by removing the unknown or untrustworthy plugins.

    I’ve deactivated many of the plugins and updated where needed, but nothing. I am having a problem with the X-Shortcode plugin. It’s currently inactive, but when I click to activate it nothing happens: http://screencast.com/t/hIiRPG6WD

    Could this be the cause of the weird formatting? What do I need to go to get it activated? Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi there,

    You don’t need to use X Shortocode as it’s replaced by Cornerstone. All functionality of X Shortocodes has been integrated to Cornerstone. So it will give error if you activate this again. Let’s remove X Shortcodes plugin completely.
