When I try to install:
X Shortcodes
Slider Revolution
Visual Composer

I get… Downloading install package from http://dedemurcermoffett.net/wp-content/themes/x/framework/plugins/revslider.zip…

It just hangs there on all three plugins.

How to I fix this?

I’m using the latest X Theme. I just downloaded a few hours ago and latest wordpress.

Hi Rick,

Have you tried installing them one by one? This seems like a WordPress issue as I myself have experienced so many times in the past while installing (or updating) multiple plugins at once.

Please let us know if there’s anything else you need help with.

This problem is pretty unique. Please check your permissions and make sure you go through Potential Issues document.

I am having the same trouble. Permissions look good. Can’t install Revolution Slider. “Invalid Header.” Shows up as inactive after, when try to activate, get error with my URL then “wp-content/plugins/revslider/includes/framework/include-framework.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/vorlexah/public_html/vorlex.life/wp-content/plugins/revslider/revslider.php on line 59”

Delete, try to reinstall, same stuff all over again. Please advise.

All other plugins/extensions installed. Trying to set up new site with newly purchased X. Definitely want Rev. Slider. I’d appreciate your support please.

Setup expanded content demo restaurant will also not install. Is this because it requires Rev Slider which also won’t install? Brand new WP install. Brand new X install. Desperate for answers. Or a refund so we can get a different theme and get going with one that fully functions. Please advise.

Alight. Talking to myself here, but just in case… I got Rev Slider to install by skipping the theme’s extensions add on and downloading the zip from http://updates.theme.co/56ff66a0f2e50ddad54ecd8c408964255109db1d/third-party-revslider/revslider.zip

Then I manually installed the plug in with no problems.

I still can’t get the demo content to install. Is there somewhere I can download that as well, since your installers don’t work as advertised?

Sorry to hear that you are facing trouble installing the demo content. Would you mind creating a new thread and providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look to the issue? To do this, you can make a private post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

Meanwhile, please try adding &clean-cache to the URL of demo content page in your site to clear the cache. For example:

http://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=x-addons-demo-content&clean-cache
