    I’ve been all through the Forum looking for viable solutions to both of these issues and there don’t appear to be any.

    Third party plugins to work around the sticky issue are old and unstable . A backend setting that turns on when the portfolio template is chosen would fix the sorting issue (like The Grid has) instead of layers of conditionals to get around pre-get-posts issues on static pages.

    So this is just to bump the feature requests up again. (The ability to sort the portfolio page results by some way other than reverse chron has been a request for a while, e.g. https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/sort-portfolio-alphabetically/ where the solution no longer works.)

    If there is some other place to put feature requests, please let me know.

    All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
