liquidedgeParticipantHi,
I’m trying to change the order of portfolio gallery images. However, it appears that dragging them in the wordpress media uploader to reorder them does nothing- why is this? Or am I missing a setting or feature somewhere?
Login details in next post.
Cheers.

LelyModeratorHello Brad,
To reorder the images, please open that specific portfolio. Then click Add Media Button. Once Insert Media Window shows, select current image for the gallery then click Delete Permanently. Do this for all other images that is attached to this specific portfolio. Then click Upload Files Tab. Upload the images again one by one in the order you want. The first one you have uploaded will display first on the gallery.
Hope this helps.

liquidedgeParticipantReally? That’s the only way to do it? That is seriously counter-intuitive from a client’s point of view.

RupokMemberHi there,
I understand your feeling bu not sure what else you are expecting. If you have knowledge of WordPress then you should already know that there is no such option of re-ordering media in WordPress by dragging and a theme can’t control that.
Hope this makes sense.

liquidedgeParticipantThere is no such option? Your own knowledgebase says that there is- see https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-galleries/
In an attached screenshot i’ve highlighted On this screen you can reorder your image attachments the way you would like. referring to reordering images attached to a portfolio item.

liquidedgeParticipantFor anyone who comes across this: I’ve installed the Post Types Order plugin.
Now, my portfolio slider images are in the same order as my media library images.
Cheers.
